Arkansas Photographer Liz Sanders spent the past four years working with me on Life and Death of the American Worker: The Immigrants Taking on America’s Largest Meatpacking Company to photograph workers at Tyson Foods. We spent time with workers and their families, in their kitchens and gardens, at church, vigils, organizing meetings, and protests. As is evident when you look at the photos on the book cover, most workers requested to remain anonymous because they fear retaliation for speaking publicly about labor conditions.
Pre-ordered! The cover looks great, and I'm looking forward to reading it.
It’s gorgeous!!!
Great cover!
Stunning cover!!!
So looking forward to this. Beautiful, arresting cover. Congrats!
I can't wait, Alice - and let me know if I can help with your UK bookshop/festival arrangements when the time comes <3
